Kaplan University Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Degree Program Receives Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET Accreditation Affirmation

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kaplan University recently received the Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) of ABET accreditation affirmation for the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. This is the first time the University has applied for this programmatic accreditation and it is the result of a multi-year team effort.

“We felt obtaining the CAC of ABET accreditation was important for several reasons. It helps us assure that our curriculum is meeting the highest standards for the field and that we remain focused on continuous improvement. It also provides evidence of our program quality and faculty who are dedicated to student success,” said Dr. Thomas Boyd, Dean of the Kaplan University School of Business and Information Technology.

Kaplan University’s Bachelor of Science in Information Technology prepares students for career advancement in information technology (IT) fields by providing the technical knowledge, and communication, critical thinking, and creative skills relevant to the modern workplace. The online degree program is offered in the University’s online classroom.
