Kaplan University Commencement Honors More Than 10,000 Online Graduates

Kaplan University online students came together today to celebrate their academic achievements at the University’s 2017 Commencement held at the Rosemont Theater outside of Chicago.

More than 10,000 online graduates were recognized for earning Certificate, Associate, Bachelor, Master or Doctoral Degrees from the Schools of Business and Information Technology, Education, Health Sciences, Nursing, Open College, Concord Law School and the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.

Mr. Gregory Marino, CEO of Kaplan Higher & Professional Education addressed the graduates. Mr. Marino joined Kaplan Inc. in 1993 and subsequently played an integral role building Kaplan University’s highly successful student-focused service model and innovative technology platform from the ground up.                                           

Some 700 graduates attended the ceremonies in person and were cheered on by family and friends. Thousands more watched and celebrated from around the world via a Facebook Live broadcast.
