Kaplan University’s Davenport Campus to Host Graduation Ceremony for 158 Students Sunday

Kaplan University’s Davenport campus will hold a graduation ceremony on Sunday, June 15, for 158 students. The ceremony will take place at 3:00 p.m. at the River Center in Mississippi Hall, 136 E. Third St., Davenport.

Students will be recognized for earning bachelor’s degrees, associate degrees, certificates, or diplomas in one of 18 programs in the business, communications, legal studies, information technology, interdisciplinary, travel and hospitality, and allied health fields. Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study. According to the State of Iowa Occupational Projections, a report by the Iowa Workforce Development, Policy and Information Division, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 30.7 percent, medical transcription positions by 23.6 percent and paralegal positions by 29.1 percent from 2004 to 2014.

The Kaplan University Davenport is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).
